The original director and lead choreographer of Britney Spears’ upcoming Circus tour have both quit before the tour even starts, according to Rolling Stone.

Wade Robson and Andre Fuentes have both left “The Circus Starring Britney Spears” event, which is expected to embark from New Orleans, La., on March 3.

The official reason for their departure hasn’t been revealed, but according to Britney Spears fan site Breathe Heavy, Robson simply said he had “had it.”

That always bodes well.

Replacing Robson will be Jamie King, who is responsible for Madonna’s huge Sticky & Sweet Tour and worked with Spears on her Oops… I Did It Again tour.

Simon Ellis will be the tour’s new musical director. He previously worked with the Spice Girls and was dubbed a “genius” by American Idol mastermind Simon Fuller.

How excited are you for this Circus coming to town?

Reports are also romantically linking Britney Spears and Sandip Soparrkar, an Indian choreographer who she’s working with on her Womanizer music video, and who has previously taught moves to pop divas Madonna, Shakira and Beyonce.

We don’t believe that rumor for a second, given how involved Jamie Spears is in her life these days, but just the same, we’ll keep you posted on that.
