Having miraculously survived another year, walking train wreck and one-time pop star Britney Spears celebrated her 26th birthday by blowing out candles on her birthday cake at the Scandinavian Style Mansion in Bel Air on Saturday.
There were no lap dances, no outfit swaps, no barefoot bathroom visits, no running over the celebrity news media, or clubbing in no underwear. At least for one night.
On hand at the relatively low-key affair were her trusted freeloader companion, Sam Lutfi, and her “cousin” Alli Sims, among others. Britney also met up with a former clubbing cohort, that harlot Paris Hilton, at the birthday bash.
The gang sang “Happy Birthday” as Britney Spears blew out candles on a small chocolate cake on Saturday night. Two enormous bodyguards shielded her table.
It was a night to remember for the troubled birthday girl, who managed not to pass out drunk! She also scored $30,000 in leather and fur coats — including a $7,000 fur-trimmed white leather coat — at the gifting suites from high-end designer Katja Berglund. We expect PETA to become livid about this one any day now.
“She was very calm, nice, friendly,” a party source told Us Weekly. “I know she’s had some bad times here, but I think she looked really great.”
After leaving at 12:45 a.m., Spears and crew continued the festivities at The Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. Paris Hilton was spotted leaving at 3:50 a.m.
Spears spent her actual birthday Sunday with her two adorable little mistakes sons, two-year-old Sean Preston and 14-month-old Jayden James.
