Hot 97 morning crew suspended over ‘Tsunami Song’

» More Media

One might think Lizzie Grubman would want to avoid the racial storm brewing at Hot 97, but a publicist is a publicist. Grubman says the entire staff of the morning show, hosted by Tarsha Nicole Jones (aka Miss Jones), were suspended indefinitely for the “Tsunami Song,” which played throughout the week and included racial slurs. Though not earning a paycheck this week will make the staff’s promise to donate one week’s worth of pay to the tsunami relief effort a pretty easy task.
