Spencer Pratt tried to make amends with Lauren Conrad on her 26th birthday via Twitter Wednesday, but the fashion designer and former Hills star isn't listening.

"Lauren has moved past all the drama," a source close to LC says. "She's focusing on her career and barely has time to interact with the people she actually likes."

"Why would she want to back in touch with Spencer Pratt?"

A fair point. Why would anyone really?

The source close to Conrad adds that "in this case, like others, she's going to continue to do what works best with Spencer and that's obviously to ignore him."

The world has apparently followed suit in the past year and a half.

Pratt, meanwhile, is broke and living at home, but says he doesn't "have a hatchet to bury" with his former co-star, who he frequently butted heads with.

"We had our differences, but the fact is that Lauren was a part of our lives, both personally and professionally," Spencer Pratt tells Us, as if anyone cares.

"After all this time, what point would there be in being angry? All I wanted to do was wish her nothing but the best in everything she does."

Sadly, that totally heartfelt sentiment fell upon a deaf Twitter account.

The lovely Lauren Conrad turns 26 today. Happy birthday, LC!

While she became famous because MTV's Laguna Beach and The Hills, the California girl is a bit of an anomaly, seeking LESS attention and bowing out on her terms.

Choosing to focus on her personal life and branch out career-wise, Lauren left a show that made her a star and has lived largely under the radar for years now.

She did top the N.Y. Times Bestseller List and continues to work as a celebrity fashion designer, but seems to content to live a lower-profile life. More power to her.

Lauren Conrad debuted her new pink hairstyle online yesterday. Awesome new 'do or awful new hue? We're biased towards all things LC, but you make the call!

The 25-year-old tweeted a link to an Instagram pic of her "cotton candy bun" Saturday.

The picture (below) shows streaks of pale pink mixed in with her trademark blonde locks, piled atop her lovely head. If anyone can pull it off:

This is actually not the first time LC has made an unconventional coiffure choice.

In July, the former star of Laguna Beach / The Hills dyed the ends of her hair different hues of pink and blue. Why that unusual color combo? Her fans voted for it!

"Roses are red, violets are blue," she tweeted. "The color of my hair is up to you!"

Since splitting with Kyle Howard, who hasn't Lauren Conrad been linked to?

She briefly dated Derek Hough, then was spotted kissing Chace Crawford.

Now it's a Glee star that she's rumored to be romantically interested in.

While out at Beacher's Madhouse at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood Saturday, Conrad was "very flirty" with Cory Monteith - and later gave him her number.

When she wasn't chatting up the cute actor, Conrad, clad in a tank top, skirt, blazer and Chanel bag, danced in her seat, chatted with friends and sipped on a cocktail.

Later in the evening, her former maybe-flame Derek Hough came by, but it wasn't too awkward as they hugged and had a friendly conversation before parting ways.

LC finished the night with champagne, staying until the club closed. Sometimes that's just how a single gal rolls. Who do you think she'll flirt it up with next?

A source tells Us Weekly that the Hills alum was spotted "making out" with the actor. Their reps deny the hookup ... but there's no denying this kind of hotness!

Lauren Conrad and Chace Crawford kicked off the hot night of flirting at L.A.'s Voyeur nightclub and later connected at a party at actor Shawn Pyfrom's house.

"There's always been an attraction between them," an insider says. "[But] Lauren is really enjoying herself lately. She's not taking anything too seriously!"

That's what they all say. Play on, players.

Think they make a cute couple?

Looks like the Lauren Conrad and Derek Hough dating rumors are true.

The hot young couple added fuel to the fire by partying together - very closely, as a matter of fact - in the back room at L.A.'s Trousdale Lounge.

While they were with friends - she had Lo Bosworth with her, and he was hanging out with Dancing With the Stars co-star Mark Ballas - they mostly spent time with each other. Then they hit the floor, where they danced lovingly.

Derek Hough and Lauren Conrad are totally a couple.

"It was obvious there was a lot of chemistry between the two," an onlooker says. "She was very smitten." So smitten, in fact, that the normally reserved reality TV star and fashion designer shared some smooches with her man.

Says the onlooker: "Neither seemed embarrassed about kissing in public."

They seem like a good fit, don't you agree?

Lauren Conrad, whose fashion line for Kohl’s and her own Paper Crown line are both going strong these days, says the trick to designing great clothes is to do so selfishly. Her motto for creating each season’s signature look?

“You know what you’d want to buy - design it,” she tells People.

There’s a continuity in each season for each line that comes from the former Hills star's very own vision. “The look is soft, romantic, pretty,” she explains.

And the 25-year-old says she’s also figured out that style isn’t just about looking good. “Dress in what makes you feel good about yourself too,” she says.

The California girl isn’t only involved in fashion these days; she just finished up her stint as a guest writer for Forbes and recently announced plans to launch a beauty line based on her popular new website, TheBeautyDepartment (dot) com.

She's also reportedly dating Derek Hough! Way to go LC!

There's a romance brewing between a Dancing With the Stars pro and former queen of the Hills. Derek Hough and Lauren Conrad are totally dating!

"They've been on a few dates together," a source says.

The two raised many an eyebrow at Jason Scoppa's weekly live show at the Sayers Club in Hollywood: "They were pretty cozy. Definitely playful and flirty."

"They were close to each other," the source explained of LC and DH. "He had his arm around her waist. They were dancing and also holding hands."

When they left, celebrity news photographers snapped away, but the two didn't stand too close together. A security guy also tried to block the shots.

Lauren Conrad most recently ended a long relationship with actor Kyle Howard in June, while Hough was linked to former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole.

Teen Wolf star Colton Haynes may or may not be dating his longtime friend Lauren Conrad, but we can all agree that the girl is a bona fide cutie.

Since LC's split in June from Kyle Howard, she's been spotted flirting up a storm with Haynes. But he downplayed it to Ryan Seacrest on Monday.

"I've known Lauren for about four-and-a-half years now," Haynes told Seacrest, who asked about the rumor. "We're really just good friends."

"She's cute," Seacrest said, prompting Haynes to second his assessment. "I would say yes," the 23-year-old actor agreed. "She definitely is."

"She's definitely smart. She might have more jobs than you!"

The duo was spotted last week at W. Hollywood's Trousdale, where she was also flirty with her ex-BF, Kyle Howard. Conrad and Haynes were first seen exchanging phone numbers at a bash - and then hitting a club - in July.

The MTV star admitted he and the celebrity fashion designer "hang out a lot" and gushed, "She's great!" Think they would make a cute pair?
