A Laguna Beach alumna, the gorgeous Lauren Conrad has gone on to be the star of its spin-off series, The Hills.
Back in her high school daze, she was the nemesis of another hottie / celebrity gossip queen, Kristin Cavallari.
On The Hills, Lauren Conrad's popularity grew.
She quickly became known for feuding with ex-roommate and ex-BFF Heidi Montag (and her boyfriend turned fiance Spencer Pratt) and befriending Audrina Patridge. Lauren worked with Whitney Port at Teen Vogue and then at People's Revolution.
LC used to date Jason Wahler on both reality shows, and also had a brief romance with Brody Jenner, with whom she remains good friends. Even though they're not dating they chill a lot.
Most recently she was linked to minor league baseball player Doug Reinhardt, who was a hot guy but kinda boring in the end. LC broke that off quick, which was for the best, in our opinion.
She is now dating Kyle Howard, who stars on the show My Boys, although this is sort of on the D/L. He does not appear on her show and they aren't seen together all that often.
Lauren Conrad recently came out with her own fashion line, too. She's becoming a mogul in her own right!
We can't wait to see what LC has in store for us next. The Hills wrapped its third season in Spring 2008 and its fourth has been another smash hit in Fall 2008. MTV announced that a fifth season will be airing in 2009, as well. Which is sweet!
So far on the current season, it's more of the same - Lauren Conrad, Lo Bosworth and Audrina hating on Speidi and living in a fancy house in L.A., before Audrina decided to move out and none other than Holly Montag moved in. Scandalous!
All in all, it's pretty girls coming of age and into their own. Much drama along the way, natch. Gotta love The Hills.

Lauren was wrong when she told Whitney, that Lo didn't owe Audrina anything. SHE OWES HER AN APOLOGY. If Lauren watches the shows, like she's said she does, she should've seen and heard how snobby Lo treats Audrina. Pay Attention, Lauren! Wheather she was Lauren's friend for a long time or not, she's treating her other friend like crap. And in the meantime, that's not being a good friend to Lauren, because she's the one having to deal with all the grief Lo's causing. Audrina is a good person, and didn't deserve the way Lauren treated her after all that started because of Lo. I hope Lauren doesn't work out her problems with Heidi...she's not worth it. And I hope she quits going back to all her old boyfriends...my god. How stupid is that anyway, isn't she smart enough to know that if it didn't work the first time around, it's not going to the second or third? I hope the show gets more interesting, this season just doesn't have the excitement the last ones have. I've been watching since the first episode of Laguna Beach, and i'm noticing this season is all hype so far. The previews they show of upcoming episodes elude to something exciting...but they deliver nothing but blah. I was glad to see that Lauren and Audrina finally talked, but even that was boring...and we already know it's not going to last, because they already showed Audrina's sister telling her she'll have to move to save her friendship. And i've also read on other sites, that Audrina moved to Vegas. So, yep...the drama continues. Whoever's editing needs to put more content in the show. And quit spending so much time on Heidi and Spencer and Lo. Or better yet, just get rid of them. Although, it does make a good time for a bathroom break while they're on. THEY SUCK!!!!!

Hey LC I like u a lot so little advice 4 u. 1: get rid of LO she's fake. 2: work it out with Heidi & Audrina they r u're real friends. 3:Tell Brody how u feel he's da one 4 u and don't trust stephanie she's sick u need loyal people around. Peace.

Lauren, you are an inspiration to your generation. Just be sure not to let it appear that Lo has you trapped with her in all of her catiness. She is playing this like an acting job and doing it very badly. I don't think she is a very strong assett for you. On the other hand it appears that Audinra has to become a star whore. Don't count on her too much. I think your best friend is Brody. Always there to take up for you. Whit is a doll but not the type to say anything that would ruffle anybodies feathers. By the way, be careful with Steff. Don't think she is real secure. We can't have her going back to drugs and blaming you. Boy are you in the middle of a mess girl. Concentrate on your career and follow your heart. You are a good girl!!!!

ok 4 a start i cant stand spencers little bum fluff white tash! it hangs ova his lip n makes looking at his cheesy little square head even more irritating. secondly, grow up heidi and reolise that spencer is only clingin on 2 u coz he knows that if u's broke up he wud be owt ov the show...and who in their right mind would employ him anywhere else?
thirdly- LO, go bak 2 laguna where u belong and get a proper job instead ov taking the easy way owt and spongeing off lauren!
lauren ur beautiful and can do so much better with boys! and audrina ur mint dont change!
