Former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner, who resigned from Congress after tweeting lewd pictures of his junk to women online, is considering a political comeback.

For one of the highest-profile offices in the U.S., no less.

Weiner said he hopes to enter this year's New York City mayoral race, saying that the five boroughs' voters might be willing to give him a second chance.

"I don't have a burning, overriding desire to go and run for office," said Weiner, a Democrat who coveted the job long before his infamous scandal.

"It's not the single animating force in my life as it was for some time. But I do recognize, to some degree, it's now or maybe never for me, in terms of running."

Traci Nobles REALLY wants a publisher to purchase her proposal for a memoir about her interactions with Anthony Weiner.

Nobles, a woman who met the disgraced politician on the Internet and is doing all she can to profit from that experience, supposedly gave an excerpt to Radar Online of one of the conversations she shared with Weiner via Twitter.

Is Anthony Weiner smiling here at the thought of a threesome with another dude? Probably not.

Nobles says Weiner asked her about "3 ways" with him and "another guy" and, when pressed on whether he's turned on by men, responded:

"Well it depends on the guy, but generally yes."

Of course, there's no proof that this exchange actually took place. It's just the word of a woman who carried on a Web-based affair with a married man and is now hoping to write a book about it... versus the word of a popular congressman who ended his career in humiliating fashion because he just had to send photos of his body to random females he had never met.

Anthony Weiner now has something to take his mind off the fact that he resigned in shame from Congress after half-naked photos he sent to various women online were released to the public:

Huma Abedin gave birth to the couple's first child yesterday, The New York Post confirms, as Jordan Zane Weiner weighed in at just over seven pounds and all indications are that mother and child are fully healthy.

Abedin, who works as an aide to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, would have come a lot closer to leaving Weiner, according to insiders, if she had not found out she was pregnant just as the Tweeting scandal broke.

The couple got married in Long Island last year.

Anthony Weiner has remained mostly out of the spotlight since resigning from Congress this summer amid a penis-texting scandal.

But Traci Nobles is reportedly hoping to drag the disgraced politician's name back through the mud again, tell-all memoir style.

One of Weiner's online mistresses, Nobles has already appeared on The Today Show and said she has no regrets about cybersexing with a married man. To further drive that point home, "Traci has been shopping [a] book around to various publishers," an insider tells Radar Online.

The source claims this memoir will feature screen shots of her Internet-based conversations with the ex-congressman, who she friended on Facebook before moving on to the romantic setting of Yahoo! Messenger.

"Traci shows no shame in pitching the book," the mole said. "She puts it all out there."

Sounds like she and Weiner have something in common in that case.

Reports of the demise of Anthony Weiner's marriage to Huma Abedin may be premature.

Just days after sources claimed the horny former Congressman was headed to rehab, while his pregnant wife was taking time apart from her troubled man, witnesses spotted the couple together on July 4.

And seemingly content!

Spotted at the Organic Market near their Forest Hills apartment, Weiner and Abedin "looked happy," a witness told The New York Daily News.

"Huma was laughing and they were talking and having fun and looked totally normal, like nothing was wrong," the insider said. "They were affectionate with one another and talking about what supplies they should pick up for the Fourth."

Sources even say the two are shopping for a bigger place in Manhattan together. They do have a child on the way.

Anthony Weiner was spotted with wife Huma Abedin this week, as the pair shared an awkward lunch in Chelsea.

But don't expect to see the disgraced politician and his pregnant better half together again any time soon, a source tells The New York Post: Weiner is headed for rehab, while Abedin is headed anywhere anywhere her husband is not.

"She is definitely taking time off away from her husband and chilling," an insider said. "And he's going some place for at least a couple of weeks."

That place is reportedly an "intensive" program to deal with the issues of being... a horny, deceitful moron. Abedin will remain at an undisclosed location while Weiner is treated for this Tiger Woods syndrome.

This source adds that her family "is going to be watching her like a hawk" to make sure Huma - in the first trimester of her first pregnancy - is getting along well physically and emotionally.

According to The New York Daily News, Anthony Weiner and pregnant wife Huma Abedin dined at La Bottega in Chelsea's Maritime Hotel yesterday afternoon, sharing pasta, but very little interaction a witness said, adding: She "looked miserable."

We wonder why.

Each half of the couple donned his/her wedding ring, but they were both on their cell phones for most of the meal.

Weiner looked "really tense," the onlooker said. "Just like he was carrying some intense baggage," although he told the newspaper everything was "great."

The former New York Congressman resigned on June 16, following an embarrassing run of leaked cell phone messages, photos and admissions from women who said they had cybersex with him. This was the first public appearance for him and his wife since then.

Amidst applause and heckling, Anthony Weiner shamefully resigned from Congress today.

Speaking at the Council Center for Senior Citizens in Brooklyn, in the district he's represented since 1998, the embattled politician had little choice but to leave his post, considering the damaging information that has been pouring out over the last two weeks.

"Today I announce my resignation, so my colleagues can get back to work and my neighbors choose a new representative," Weiner said at the press conference, apologizing to his friends, constituents and pregnant wife Huma Abedin.

From there, things got uncomfortable.
