Beyonce famously sang that girls run the world and based on the results of Forbes annual list of the most powerful celebrities, it seems she was on to something.

Thanks in part to her On the Run tour with Jay Z, Queen Bey pulled in an estimated $115 million in the past year, nearly doubling the earnings of her rapper husband.

Beyonce
Mrs. Carter tops the list. She pulled in an impressive $115 million in the past year.

Between rumors of marital troubles and the now-infamous Jay-Solance fight video, 2014 has seen Bey struggling with some problems in her personal life, but she clearly hasn't allowed the drama to affect her career.

Other celebs may earn more than Beyonce (Thanks to his deal with Beats Audio, Dr. Dre raked in an astonishing $620 million in 2013.), but according to Forbes  no one can match Mrs. Carter when it comes to sheer power.

"Mirka and I are very happy to share the news that Myla and Charlene will be big sisters in 2014! Happy Holidays … " the 32-year-old tennis legend wrote.

Federer's wife also used to play tennis professionally, before retiring due to persistent injuries. They met at the 2000 Olympics, where both competed.

She's been a fixture at his matches for many years now, as he's won a record 17 Grand Slam singles titles in his peerless Hall of Fame career.

Roger and Mirka Federer, 35, tied the knot back in April 2009 and their identical twin daughters, Myla and Charlene, born later that year, are now four.

Andy Murray of Great Britain won an Olympic gold medal for the host country in tennis on Sunday, stunning top-ranked Roger Federer in straight sets.

The victory marked a career breakthrough for the 25-year-old Murray, who had lost all four of his previous Grand Slam finals, three against Federer.

Redemption came in the form of a 6-2, 6-1, 6-4 blowout.

Murray, A.

Murray, who lost to Federer just last month in his bid to become the UK's first Wimbledon champion in 76 years, dominated him on the same court today.

"I've had a lot of tough losses in my career," the pride of Dunblane, Scotland said. "This is the best way to come back from the Wimbledon final."

"I'll never, ever forget it."

For 17-time Grand Slam winner Federer, the loss marked a surprising disappointment as he has now failed to win singles gold in four Olympics.

"He was much better than I was today," said the Switzerland native, as classy an athlete as there is in any sport. "Still I'm very happy with the silver."

Murray won nine straight games spanning the first two sets to take control, breaking Federer's serve an unheard of four times in a row at one point.

He credited his inspired play to the raucous crowd support he received from British fans, who cheered their hero's every shot en route to gold.

America's Serena Williams won the women's gold medal Saturday.

Roger Federer won his 17th Grand Slam title at Wimbledon Sunday, but it was the first in which the tennis legend's twin daughters joined in the celebration.

As if the trophy presentation wasn't emotional enough after Andy Murray's runner-up speech, the world got to see Myla and Charlene Federer, 2, cheer on dad.

Wearing identical black and white dresses and matching pigtails, the blonde cuties sat with their mom, Mirka, who has been married to Roger since 2009:

  • Federer Twins
  • Roger's Twins

Helping out with the twin toddlers: Federer's mother, Lynette.

The foursome were cheering and applauding in the stands as Federer, 30, bested Murray, 25, in his bid to become the UK's first homegrown winner since 1936.

Roger made a big deal out of his little girls during the last two weeks, taking them onto Centre Court with him to experience Wimbledon for the first time.

Myla and Charlene weren't the only stylish siblings in the stands. Pippa and Kate Middleton sat side by side while crossing their fingers for a Murray victory.

Unfortunately for the Duchess and her sister, it was not to be. But it's awfully hard not to like Federer, even before you see those adorable little kids.

The world's greatest tennis player ever, Roger Federer, is just like the rest of us (only with more monogrammed outfits): He puts pics of his kids on Facebook!

The first photo of his three-week-old twins, Myla Rose and Charlene Riva, was added to his "wall" this morning. Roger Federer had this to say about them:

"Here is a picture my dad took. He thinks he's becoming a professional photographer. It was funny ... both girls had the hiccups as we were trying to take a decent picture. The girls and mom are doing great. Thanks for all your warm wishes."

Ready? All together now ... AWW!

Myla and Charlene Federer were born July 23 in his native Switzerland. He and wife Mirka (Miroslava Vavrinec) married in April after dating for nine (!) years.

Congratulations to the happy family! But seriously, Roger, you could have let Andy Roddick win Wimbledon just one time. You don't have to be so selfish.

Roger Federer and his wife Mirka (Miroslava Vavrinec) are the proud parents of twin girls, the tennis legend announced early Friday morning on his official site.

Daughters Charlene Riva Federer and Myla Rose Federer arrived late Thursday evening in Switzerland, the 15-time Grand Slam singles champion said joyously.

Mason Dash Disick

"This is the greatest day of our lives," the Swiss Roger Federer, 27, said in a statement. "Mirka, Myla and Charlene are all healthy and doing very well."

Roger and Mirka Federer have welcomed a new doubles team!

The couple, who has been together nine years but just tied the knot in April, had announced the pregnancy in March, but never that they were expecting twins.

In fact, word was it was to be a boy, singular.

Earlier this month, Federer defeated Andy Roddick in an epic match to win Wimbledon, his 15th Grand Slam tennis title, surpassing Pete Sampras' record 14.

Congratulations to the happy new parents!
