Last week, photos that allegedly showed Taylor Swift making out with Karlie Kloss made the Internet a better place to be.
This week, Swifty is going all Grinch on us, and sucking the joy from this holiday season by confirming what we already secretly suspected: She’s not banging her Victoria’s Secret model bestie.
“As my 25th birthday present from the media,” Taylor tweeted today. “I’d like for you to stop accusing all my friends of dating me. #thirsty”
On some level, we knew the idea of Swoss was too good to be true, but we were hoping Tay-Tay would let us hold on to the fantasy for a little while longer.
On the plus side, Taylor mentions the idea of dating “all” of her friends, which means there may be “besties with benefits” rumors that haven’t even hit the Internet yet!
Taylor has so many famous female friends, we don’t even know where to start with the wild speculation!
Could there be talk of a Taylor and Sarah Hyland romance? Taylor and Lena Dunham are close, maybe…actually, we’re just gonna leave that one alone.
In all likelihood, Taylor is into dudes and not scissoring any of her many girlfriends. Seems like a total waste, but hey, it’s her life.
Fortunately, we get to watch Taylor and Karlie share the stage at the 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Tuesday night. Hopefully Taylor doesn’t have any tweets up her sleeve to ruin that for us, too.
