Robin Thicke won't give up on trying to salvage his relationship with estranged wife Paula Patton. Whether or not she gives in is the real question here.
The Canadian crooner reiterated this in an emotional tribute to the actress in his first concert since their split last night, openly saying he wants her back.
"For y'all that don't know me and my wife separated, but I'm trying to get my girl back. She's a good woman," the 36-year-old told the crowd in Fairfax, Virginia.
Robin then performed "Lost Without U," a track written for his spouse.
Thicke was wearing his wedding ring throughout the show, as well.
Arriving for the concert earlier in the day (below), the "Blurred Lines" singer told photographers asking about the split that he is "just trying to get her back."
Curiously, on the very same day, Paula Patton's West Hollywood residence was bombarded with massive amounts of expensive looking floral arrangements.
Someone's really not taking no for an answer, but is he too late?
The duo has known each other 20 years and been married for eight, so you have to think there's a chance. On the flip side, she wouldn't ask for a divorce lightly.
Robin Thicke and Paula Patton said this on Monday: "We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time."
It was not mutual, though. Paula was the one who pulled the plug.
He flew to Canada, where she was filming her latest movie, but couldn't change her mind. They put out the statement, but he's still trying to change it.
Even though Miles is widely believed to have improvised the dry-humping seen on the VMA stage, Patton felt Robin's conduct was extremely insulting to her.
She felt "utterly disrespected" by her husband's willingness to go along with it, and for going out on the town and partying with other women so frequently.
He says he's changing and will do what it takes ... think it'll work?
