Sorry, football fans:

Scarlett Johansson will not be entering your living room during Fox’s Super Bowl coverage this Sunday, either literally or via your television set.

The network has banned this star’s new SodaStream from the big game airwaves… not because it’s too risqué (although Scarlett does she some skin!), but because she ends the spot by taunting Coke and Pepsi.

”What are they afraid of?” SodaStream CEO Daniel Birnbaum asks USA Today. “Which advertiser in America doesn’t mention a competitor?"

 

Then again, Birnbaum can’t be too upset over this development:

The controversy has resulted in the ad being seen over 1.3 million times in YouTube so far.
