Jennifer Lopez really want you to know that she's still Jenny from the block.
That's why she headed back to her Bronx hood to shoot her new music video for "Same Girl."
Get it? She's the SAME GIRL. No, really. Don't be fooled by the rocks that she's got.
She's just like us. She rides the subway. She wears a Yankees cap. She braves the polar vortex in a fur hoodie.
The American Idol judge spoke to Jay Leno about the video's down-to-earth concept, explaining, "We did it very guerrilla-style, just me and the camera, and it turned out pretty cool."
And the extras weren't even fancy actors, you guys.
They were just normals. Off the streets.
"Those were all neighborhood people. They just walked down the street and they just started following. They all just started gathering around and we were like, 'You want to be in the video?' It was so much fun and there was so much love out there. I wanted to capture that," she continued.
But seriously, kudos to J. Lo for getting back to her roots.
Remember: she used to have a little, now she has a lot.
But she's still-- oh forget it, you know the rest.
