Ray J on Hilarious New Single: Not About Kim Kardashian Sex Tape!

Yes, it references ballplayers. And rappers. And the word "west" is thrown out there. And that cover picture sure looks familiar.

But Ray J really has no idea why everyone is making a big deal out of his new single, "I Hit It First."

It's clearly NOT about the Kim Kardashian sex tape, folks!

"It's a song, it's not about that, it's about a concept," the artist said yesterday. "People going way too deep. They just gotta keep it on the surface. I'm not trying to create no war, it's all love; we're doing music."

Music, of course, was not all Ray J was doing in 2003 when he pulled out a camera and then pulled out of Kardashian on tape.

She has since moved on to Reggie Bush... and Kris Humphries... and now Kanye West.

Ray J, meanwhile, has seemingly not moved on at all.

Do you believe that "I Hit It First" is not based on his experiences with Kim Kardashian?
