Lisa Rinna is in talks to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a replacement for the exiting Adrienne Maloof, according to reports.
The Days of Our Lives star is close to finalizing a deal to join the hit show, and “really, really wants to join the show,” a source close to the actress says.
It's not the first time she's been approached, allegedly. Added the insider:
“Producers initially asked Lisa to become a part of the show, but she turned it down because she decided to do her own reality show for TV Land.”
That apparently didn't work out, so she wants in now in a big way.
“Lisa was honored to have effectively been given a second chance and negotiations are going so well that both sides believe the deal could be closed very soon."
A production insider said executives believe Rinna would “stir up sh!t” with cast-members, particularly Brandi Glanville, who has emerged as a standout.
“She’s exactly the new life that the show needs,” the source said.
“Lisa might come across as very sweet, but she isn’t a pushover. She is also a very successful business owner and hopes to highlight her clothing boutique."
“She has a lot of celebrity clientele," too, which excites Bravo.
The insider added Lisa Rinna isn’t afraid of the Housewives‘ “marriage curse” either, as she and Harry Hamlin, 61, have been married for 16 years.
Camille Grammer, Taylor Armstrong, Maloof and Glanville have all gone through high-profile divorces just before or during their time on the program.
Good luck Lisa!
