Wayne Bengston, a 41-year old in northwest Montana, reportedly shot and killed Gregory G. Rodriguez yesterday, the host of a Sportsman Channel show titled "A Rifleman's Journey."

According to The Associated Press, Bengston walked in on Rodriguez (pictured) and his wife spending time together.

He then murdered the TV personality; beat his wife; and transported his two-year old son to a relative's home where he took his own life.

The nature of the relationship between Rodriguez and Bengston's wife is unknown at this time, though the latter says the host was in town on business.

Police are expected to release more details at a press conference today.

“It’s pretty much an open-and-closed case. Homicide and suicide,” Whitefish  Police Chief Bill Dial said.
