"They're over the moon!" a source close to the parents-to-be says.
The insider adds, kind of adorably, "Kanye always wanted a girl."
Kim, 32, and Ye, 35, began dating in April 2012 and announced they were expecting on December 30 ... well, Kanye announced he got Kim Kardashian pregnant.
The duo's daughter, due in July, will no doubt be divinely dressed.
"If anyone knows Kanye, they know how into fashion he is, and I think he's going to have things specially made," Kim said of her boyfriend last month.
"So I don't think the hand-me-downs are going to work."
"He is so excited. It's really cute how excited he is."
Okay, everybody, all together now ... Awww.
Upon arrival, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's baby girl will join two cousins, Kourtney Kardashian's kiddos Mason, 3, and Penelope, 7 months.
She also has a BFF-in-waiting in one-year-old Blue Ivy Carter.
