J.J. Abrams to Direct Star Wars Episode VII
by Hilton Hater at .The force will soon be with J.J. Abrams.
Despite claiming in November that he would not get behind the camera for Star Wars Episode VII, the beloved director has reportedly had a change of heart.
The Wrap now confirms that Abrams is on board.
The wildly anticipated film won't come out until 2015, with nothing known regarding the plot or the cast at the moment.
But Abrams was hailed for his reboot of Star Trek two years ago and admitted late last year that the special effect in Star Wars "blew [his] mind" upon initial viewing. He's a big fan.
Is he the right man for the all-important job?
