One Direction Shatters Justin Bieber VEVO Record

We never thought we'd ask this, but: Justin Bieber who?!?

One Direction put that 19-year old sensation in its rearview mirror last Thursday, debuting the official music video for "Live While We're Young" and shattering Bieber's record for most VEVO views in a 24-hour period.

This one racked up an incredible 8.34 million views after just one day on the Web.

Now a week into its release, "Live While We're Young" has been watched over 27 million times.

Bieber and One Direction members are good friends, of course. So we've gotta imagine Louis Tomlinson have rubbed these numbers in the singer's face.

That's what friends are for, right?
