Joe Simpson: Arrested For DUI!
by Free Britney at .Joe Simpson, the 54-year-old former minister and manager/father of Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, was arrested for DUI in L.A. back on August 4.
During the traffic stop, on Ventura Blvd. in Sherman Oaks, officers got the feeling he was intoxicated and ultimately made an arrest.
Joe Simpson spent the rest of that night cooling off in jail.
He was released without bail at 9:41 the following day. If charges are filed, Simpson will not get any jail time since it's his first offense.
Expect something more in line with probation, community service and a sizable fine ... along with a heaping dose of embarrassment.

I always felt sorry for Nick Lachey but wow did he ever dodge a bullet in the long run. He is SO much better off away from that group of grifters. I haven't seen a pic of Jessica's baby, and I have heard several less than flattering comments, but I think all babies are cute.
@garrett - I don't know if Joe divorced his wife but he's already whored out his 2 daughters and he's destroyed both of their 1st marriages. Not to mention trying to screw Nick Lachey out of a reasonable divorce settlement with fat ass Jessica. All for the best, Nick's new wife Vanessa is simply beautiful and they seem so happy together. I’m sure Nick’s baby won’t look like Jessica’s does…
Amen Lana. This is a man who spoke about the size of his daughter's breasts in an interview. Maybe Joe should get a divorce, marry Kris Jenner and whore out all of their children.
