Lady Gaga's "Judas" Video: First, Controversial Look!
After weeks of preemptive controversy, Lady Gaga has released the music video for her single, "Judas," and the prophecy of controversy hath been fulfilled.
In a video packed with religious overtones, the pop sensation plays a modern-day Mary Magdalene, riding with a biker gang comprised of Jesus and His apostles.
Sleek, dramatic and overtly sexual, it places Gaga, among other things, writing in a bath with both Jesus and Judas, who share intimate moments, as well.

It took me a lil time to get used to this song but now it's my 2nd favorite song. However, I really don't like the video. The staging was set up high 4 sure but the camera work is obviously from an amateur.

Rock and Pop music performers have always had a select few that "push the envelope," with the clear intent to shock and upset the older generation grown ups, and the older generation has VERY OFTEN been critical of young generation's choice of music and performers they emulate and admire; going all the way back to Elvis and Little Richard, et.al
To me, Lady Gaga is a controversial "Singing MODEL." No question she has talent and skill, and her music is infectious, because of her youthful attractiveness, whatever she wears is anywhere from pleasant to pathetically scandalous, depending on anyone's opinion, but clearly the fashion industry has found a real life "Barbie Doll" to dress up and the Music Industry has an amazing commodity to sell. I just hope this girl doesn't burn out from all the insane demands on her life.

The people who don't like or are against Lady Gaga's video "Judas" can either piss-off or find something better to do that comforts what they like and stop critizing Lady Gaga and leave her alone.If some of those people don't like Lady Gaga's video....don't watch it, don't listen to it, find something else to do and shut the fuck up!!!!!

You'd think with all the video's and music that she has put out she could come up with a different beat. I like Gaga's energy, those steps are high energy inpact ones - even if they are the same ones we have seen over and over and over again - in different costumes.
The washing of the feet is Christ like. I think the video could have done without that. She can, could and did make her point with just the name Judas and the thorns.
So much value in one women seems could be directed in more worthwhile directions.
