I agree..James takes whatever song he wants and makes it his song. That's exactly what he should do. He has the voice to be able to do that. And as for the ones who talk about his screaming..he posted that everyone will be shocked when he does a complete 180!! Watch and find out!! :D GO JAMES!!!

Are you people crazy? James Durbin is AMAZING!

You ppl dissing James are nuts. Idol has never had true talent like this before. Don't take my word for it. Go watch him on youtube doing While My Guitar Gently Weeps, or Rainbow In The Dark. This kid is the real deal. He isn't going anywhere, so get used to it.

hes pretty good, needs to work on breath control though it would help with pitch.

In response to the negative comments regarding James' Bon Jovi performance. I think James did justice to Bon Jovi by not trying to karioki. James put his own twist, not to tell us that Bon Jovi's version was bad, but to take a song he respects a lot and put his on twist in it, leaving the original for us to continue to love. People, how many different variations of "Fever" are out there. Don't get too stuck with just one way to sing something.

I do like James but I have to say this was NOTHING like the original Bon Jovi song. He butchered a perfect, classic, totally rocking power ballad with this poppy version -like Tyler said, he made it too poppy- and high pitched screams. This song is one of the most beautiful ever written, and Jon's voice is so sexy and beautiful, and he sings his heart out in this one. So good try James, but there's only one man who can nail this song... and that's Jon Bon Jovi.

i think janes is amazing i love him hes goin to winn!!!!!!!!!!

lol.. that's your opinion.. you both sound so bitter? what gives? lol

Are you crazy.......this song is so beautiful but with that voice it sounds like crap no one should sing any BON JOVI song, only Jon has the voice and the feelings to sing them
