Nikki Sixx has the easiest job in Hollywood: be a better mate to Denise Richards than Charlie Sheen was during his marriage to this Z-list actress.

The Motley Crue bassist has been neighbors with Richards for years, Us Weekly reports, with the relationship recently taking a turn to the romantic.

"They have a lot in common and are taking things slowly," a source tells the magazine, adding that the pair was spotted at Marmalade Cafe in Calabasas on Sunday morning.

Sixx is a former heroin addict who has been married to two Playboy models and dated Kat Von D for almost two years.

    Six degrees of Bacon? Ha..ha.. Oh, don't forget that Motley Crue and Bon Jovi once shared the same Management. Charlie Sheen is best buds with Bret Michaels of Poison who was once dating Pamela Anderson who then of course married Tommy Lee who used to be married to Heather Locklear. But everyone who knows Nikki says that he's a good father despite his past issues. He easily is steps above Charlie in many ways.

While she and Charlie Sheen were married,Denise was hanging out with Charlie's frequent co-star Heather Locklear.Denise and Charlie break-up and Denise starts to date Heather's ex.
