    it is not so terrible.
May be Mack was a "victim" of the destiny. It all was given to happen what it happened. She was the only one daughter who was always near to John,in all circumstances. They both had their respective couples, but they share the sex with them, that is, Mack had sex with daddy while she slept with her husband of turn, and John the same thing with her wife of turn. There must have existed a superb sexual attraction between Mack and John to carry on an incestuous relationship for long ten years, as she confessed, that she consented to and participated in willingly, enjoying till the last drop of sperm her father poured into her vagina, every time she gave herself naked to her father's arms not to let him rock her to sleep, but let him make her feel orgasms of pleasure

I am so proud of MacKenzie for her strength. She is one of my favourite people in the world. I watched her on Celebrity Rehab and she is the one I pray for the most. I wish I could meet her as she is an inspiration to me and I know others for her strength and honesty. I love you MacKenzie and wish the very best for you always Carolyn kassinger Ontario Canada

I’m shocked and appalled at the naivety of some of the comments I’m reading here. This poor girl grew up in a home of drug abuse and complete dysfunction. No child asks to be abused by a parent. And I’m sorry, but if their “consensual” sexual relationship began when she was 19, this doesn’t mean that she entered it as a clear-headed adult. This was the result of a lifetime of deviant influence from her father. This story is more common than you might think, and if coming out publicly with the truth gives other people the courage to come to terms with their own truths, who are we to criticize? Shame on you for demonizing this abused, broken woman.

Do any of us know the actual truth? No. Only her, her father, and God know the truth in this situation.
She will answer for this, whether it is true or false, in the end.

For those of you throwing stones - Judge not, lest ye be judged.

One thing is for certain, I feel terrible for the family to have to deal with all of this, especially considering the inability to know whether it really happened or not. It is likely something that they will all struggle with for the rest of their lives.

    Pray for them.

I do not belive Mckenzie Phillips story, watching her on Oprah her body language did not state she was being truthful. this book is about making money for a has been not about reality. Shame on Oprah Winfrey for airing such trash Obviously Oprah is not very dicerning when it comes to trashy enquirer like stories. Did either Oprah or the Phillips woman ever consider the feelings of her family and why write it 8 years after the Father died. She would have done better on Dr Phil's couch to let him sort out what was real and what was not. She was 19 not a innocent child victim plus according to her she consented strange how he never did the actions against any of his other children I think her drug related past has had her hallucinating and making this story up.
Sorry but I do not feel she can help the world with her fantasy

I tend to believe that something major like this happened to her over time... I remember following herin the media--she was young, very bright, charismatic, BUT she just could NOT keep it together!
Time and time again, I kept thinking: what is bothering this girl??
She has a hit show, money, and lots of potential. She smiled, but she never seemed personally happy at all, especially when you kept hearing about her downfalls and strange self-destructive behavior. I always thought she seemed weird and her constant problems were unusual...well, this DEFINITELY explains it.

Why, after the first time, would you continue to have sex with your father??? Mackenzie definitely has to take some blame here, also. She continued to have sex with him and use drugs, knowing this was wrong, for ten years. She was also married at that time and to kill a child because of her "hell bent" insanity is just disgusting! She really needs admit her "sin" in all of this and get some serious help. She also needs to go to God and sincerely confess her sin with Him...

Mackenzie Phillips has been dead for years. This is an impostor who has not only stolen her identity but also is now abusing it to smear both the real Mackenzie Phillips (RIP--if you can) AND her late father, who actually outlived his oldest daughter!

It is probably very difficult for Mackenzie to do what she did but she is facing her demons and we have to focus on the positive here. She wants to help others. She got help through Narconon and she is moving on with her life. I think it took a lot to face what she did and she is right that not many people are willing to look at and confront the subject(s) she is confronting. I'm glad she has support from her sister.
