Caroline Manzo: Danielle Staub is a Liar, Has No Morals
The Real Housewives of New Jersey concluded its first season last week with an epic fight in which Danielle Staub was labeled a "prostitution whore," among other things, while nearly having a table flipped onto her by an enraged Teresa Giudice.
The classy ladies will reunite Tuesday night on Bravo for a post-mortem. In anticipation of the drama to come, Caroline Manzo and Danielle Staub spoke out separately to discuss their feud. All the N.J. wives seem to feud with Danielle.
Where They Stand
Caroline Manzo: She’s invisible to me. I never had a relationship with her and I will never have a relationship with her. She’s a pathological liar. She is manipulative. She is an opportunist. She has no conscience. She has no morals.
Danielle Staub: If you’re going to call me a pathological liar, challenge me. I’m a human being, and on the inside my heart aches just like theirs. Just because there’s so many of them that doesn’t mean that their pain is more important than mine.
Who Is Lying?
Danielle Staub: I have a big problem with Caroline. I think that she’s a big bully. She’s lying. And I don’t understand her motives. Protecting your sister is one thing, but what exactly are you protecting her from?
Caroline Manzo: A lot of people are upset with me for “lying for my sister.” I didn’t lie for my sister. That’s not who I am. And there’s no truth to that at all. If Dina showed that book, I would have let her fight her own battle. So, Danielle, sorry to disappoint you.
Caroline Manzo: At [my son] Albie’s graduation party we found out this book exists and immediately we went to the computer in the office and we Googled it. We read an excerpt from the contents and we were blown away. The next day, I went to the library and I got the book. Dina and Jacqueline knew I was going, and we got back to my house and read it together and had tremendous concerns.
Danielle Staub: They would not give me the chance to talk about it, and I thought [bringing the book to dinner] was the only way to get them to pay attention. They were running around even with that book laying there. If I hadn’t put it there, it never would have been addressed. It was the strongest way to say, “I have you all in one room and like it or not, the cameras are going to see that.”
Is Danielle Staub Dangerous?
Danielle Staub: Really? Was it my father-in-law that was killed and shoved into a trunk? I’m dangerous? I knew about this through the whole show. I didn’t bring it up once. I’m classy. [But] let’s talk about what’s really dangerous here. I’d like to hear about the two siblings that they haven’t talked to in a decade - why they made their wives so uncomfortable that their own brothers won’t even speak to them. But I’m the one who caused trouble in that family? Don’t point the finger at me, ’cause I’m not sitting back anymore.
Caroline Manzo: People say, “Well, why didn’t you go to her?” Because that reputation preceded her. The woman we knew was incapable of telling the truth. After screaming and arguing for days and days, we made a decision not to tell Danielle that we know [the book] exists. If we play dumb, it can’t come back to haunt us. And that’s the decision we made as a family.
What About the Kids?
Caroline Manzo: The true Danielle is in those very last moments of that footage [from the final episode]. That is the true unfiltered Danielle, with that cigarette. And who is her audience? Her children. Making pizza and climbing a rock wall don’t make you a great parent. Her children are well-behaved, well-mannered and they excel in school. But if you look at her children, they have a haunted look in their eyes. These children are paying the price for her irresponsibility.
Danielle Staub: My children were present [for the confrontation] for a very good reason. I not once used an obscenity. I not once started screaming at anybody. I not once tossed a table, or flipped out and banged my hands, or started pacing around. I was just sitting firm, waiting for my right of passage, so to speak. Did I put a burden on [my children]? Did I bring the book out? Were [the Manzo sisters] thinking of my kids? Was it me that put my kids in this position?
NOTE: No word on the "position" Danielle may or may not be in during the sex tape Steve Zalewski is thinking about selling at some point.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one to think that Caroline sits on her high horse...here is a woman who likes to portray herself as the prim and proper highly moral NJ housewife who by the way seems to have it all, BUT the truth of the matter is that she is a judgemental,cold and unempathetic woman who is a bully.
She showed no understanding towards Danielle and bosses Jacqueline and her opinions.Watching her reactions towards Danielle on the reunion show,just confirmed to me how viscious she can be.
As for Teresa......well what can you say about stupidity all rolled up with arrogance!!!!
I watch this show to see their fake and shallow behaviour.......humble they are not!!!!

Danielle Staub is the most disgusting looking/acting person I've seen in some time; actually horrifying! What makes it worse is her dysmorphic perception of herself that allows her to display more of this mess than anyone should be forced to witness. (The humiliation of her poor children, who are compelled, by their natural compulsory "love" of the person on whom they are dependent, to be supportive of this horror of a mother, who is clearly dysfunctionally controlling of them, and ready to pimp them off to the highest buyer, is deplorable, and should be grounds for rescue of those girls by the Department of Social Services). But that is neither here or there. Just as the backgrounds of any of the women involved (other than Staub) is largely irrelevant. It's about INTERACTION.

Omgsh i know i'm soooo late...but i just saw it. Wayyy to go caroline...she's right though...danielle just wanted it to be dina so bad that she ignored the obvious.
danielle is a pathological liar and she tried to act classy and normal, but her true colours keep slipping out. she is definetly the aggressor, but then acts like a victim when she knows she's losing.
btw i kinda wish that dina or caroline kicked her @$$ that would have made for some good tv.

Caroline..I adore you Hon. You represent what all women should aspire to be. You have the strength,honesty and courage to say whats on your mind. Your loving, sweet, adorable and I just love you. I'd love to have a friend or sister like you!
You need to take Danielles threats seriously. She brought a HELLS ANGEL to the brownstone and made threats on camera. I'm worried for your safety and Albies too.

I wish I had a sister like Caroline my family is not loyal like theirs..she is not a bully..Danielle started all of this..pay attention please...Danielle talks about their children...she goes as low as you can go...she bought the book with her children there...Danielle was yelling too...Caroline is right Danielle girls do have a sad look in their eyes..they are on guard..they never know what there mother is gonna do..they are living in fear..cant anyone see that..where is there father..she brings felonys into her childrens life...Danielle has a low IQ she is sick I feel for her childrens life..I hope their father is reading this..go get your girls..Danielle is crying for help.. I am tempted to call social services myself...somebody do something...before its to late..the hells angles..she bought the hells angels to a charity...is this normal where are all the normal people out...just sayin'

DANIELLE IS OUT OF HER MIND. SHE THINKS THE BROWNSTONE WAS OUT TO GET HER.DID SHE EVER THINK TO ASK IF SHE COULD BRING GUESTS. THEY DIDNT PAY SO HOW IS ANYONE TO KNOW THEY WERE COMING,HER AND HER FRIENDS NEED TO GET THE WHOLE STORY BEFORE THEY SPOUT OFF AT THE MOUTH. Has anyone been watching the same show as me? Danielle is CRAZY! She's been dogging Dina since minute one. Dina not wanting to deal with Danelle is a good decision. Caroline well hell I wish I had a sister who loved me as much as she love's Dina and Jacqueline. I don't in my opinion think's a bloated pig but, more or less very big chested. As far as Tommy Manzo is concerned I saw his and Dina's Platinum Wedding, I don't think he was cut out for reality television he's to hyper. Caroline is like most Italian and Scilian Mothers I know they dote on their kids till their kids move out and dote more on their sons. Theresa well lets see, she gets everyone from the show together for a wrap dinner, she and her husband Joe are obviously paying for it and Danelle disrepects Theresa by telling her to pay attention. Danelle should have never brought out that book she not at the time she did, she should have said to the 4 other housewives can we please discuss this after dinner for those who wante
