At least explains why Larry Birkhead is such a pimp.
The father of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, Dannielynn, must have known that he'd eventually be taken to court by Debra Opri.
She's the attorney that helped Birkhead acquire custody of his child. And how does he repay her? Well, he doesn't.
After two years of battling Birkhead for her fee, Opri is finally getting her day before a judge. According to sources, the lawyer plans to air "all dirty laundry" during the trial. Over the last few months, she says:
"America no longer sees the fair-haired country boy they once did" in Dannielynn's father, a fact to which we can certainly attest. We just see a man that actually had cameras follow him and his daughter to Anna Nicole's grave.
We wonder how much money Larry Birkhead was paid to exploit his daughter on every entertainment news show he could find.

If I remember correctly from when Opri first started complaining about Birkhead's non-payment of his legal bills, the items that were charged to him seemed WAY beyond reason. Things like personal dinners and dry cleaning for her and her husband don't seem like expenses that should be billed to the client. That being said, I think that Larry has a fairly good shot at a favorable ruling here and Opri would be lucky if she avoids the Attorney Grievance Commission after some of her questionable billing policies come to light. After all the dust is settled in this case I hope Larry cuts his losses and never pursues the case against the Marshall estate that Anna died trying to win. While he's got close to an "open and shut" case here, the chances of a claim on behalf of Anna's estate winning in Marshall v. Marshall are slim to none...and slim just left town.

She also billed him for a trip for herself and hubby to attend Anna Nicole's funeral, which Larry told her not to come to. And billed him for her publicist, which is an expense that she is liable for in the course of business, not something chargeable to each individual client. Then there was the fabulous "Lobster dinner" she wants Larry to pay for to repay Larry's own friends for free lodging in Miami. She is a sleaze, a thief, and as unethical and crooked as lawyers come. She is the type of lawyer that give all attorneys a bad name. Notice she has no high profile cases, "Michael Jackson's parents" (so what, why did they even NEED an attorney?) She is nothing but a vulture and ambulance chaser.

Unfortunately for her, she was taped on On the Record with Greta Van Susteren saying she was working pro bono, "for the good of this little girl, Dannielynn."
On tape.
She just needs to give him his money and crawl back under her rock.

To finish my comment. This guy seems to be one of the most loving fathers I have seen; and even when a show like TMZ can not say something bad well I feel... really just leave the guy alone! He after all is this childs father and no matter how hard he attempts to be the perfect dad she will always be in public eye. Also remember he fought for her and seriously appears to care about this little girls best interests. Yet I have noticed that the past few months the public eye has dampered on these two. Maybe because of lower public demand but also maybe because a caring father realized his daugher was the most important thing. We all thrive on this stuff in one way or another. But personally my Congrats To YOU Larry For seeming to do the best for your little girl! I'm no expert but the loving eyes of a child sends a message no one can argue with. Yet no one knows what goes on behind closed doors. But personally I'll take the look of an obviously happy toddler over any snide comments.
