Let's hope Jesse Langseth didn't celebrate her inclusion in this season's semifinal round of American Idol by having a drink.
The Minneapolis native was busted a few years ago for DUI, according to TMZ. She pled guilty, spent four days in jail and was placed on probation for two years.
She officially became a free woman again last December. Here's her original mug shot:
Cheers to Jesse Langseth for making the final 36 on American Idol!

Quite honestly, I don’t know why she is still on the show! American Idol kicked Joanna Pacitti off for being “Connected to people” and having previous record deals! This Jesse chick had not had that, but she has been in enough trouble and she knows people who could possibly help her in the music business!
I thought American Idol was for “No Buddies” yet this year, there is not many of those people!

If you think about it, you can find dirt on ANYBODY. So... she made a mistake years ago and one that 1/7 of the population between the ages of 20 and 30 statistically has made as well. Give her a break and go find some real "dirt" TMZ. I'm rooting for her. I'm also proud of her for NOT using her connections in the music business and trying to accomplish a goal on her own! Minneapolis is cheering you on Jkat!

I am in agreement with Hana H. Jesse we will be voting for you. Jesse like many have made mistakes but is there anyone out there who hasn't. TMZ those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. If your lives were so meaningful you would find a better use of your talents then using them to bring more guilt to others who are already suffering enough with themselves over badly judged decisions.
Jesse you bring it on girl, you are talented in your own right. Godd luck

Wow,
the hate, jealousy and utter ignorance of “The Cait Types” speaks volumes…..
Cait, that self-rightous monkey you have clinging to your back must be one enormous obligation.
Congratulations Jesse!
I don't know you but I like to see people succeed.

I congradulate Jessse on trying to make something of her life and not rely on the easy path of letting here family do it for her. Sure, she could've taken the easy way and followed on her brothers coat tails, but no. She is doing it on her own and will make mistakes a long the way as we ALL do.
Unfortuantly it is human nature for some to find fault in everyone other than themselves and ride it as long as it will continue to take attention of of themselves.
You go Jesse and you have a lot of us pulling for you. You've got it and we know it.

I went to school with her, she is so desperate to become her brother ("Johnny Lang") it's sad. She's a waste. It's sad to see the trash that has progressed from Roseville High School.

Agree! Jesse has a beautiful voice - we are all pulling for you! Much love!!

I, too, knew Jesse in her high school years through her brother. Don't you think you are being a little harsh, "Ish"?

NP: You knew Jonny? Lucky :(
If Jesse has any fraction of Jonny's musical talent, she has final 4 in the bag.
