Perez Hilton likes to slander Barack Obama by pointing out the political views of people the candidate knows, but who aren’t running for any office.

You can tell a lot about a person by the company they keep, the infamous celebrity gossip blogger states. The rotund one is right, but only to a point.

Political candidates in particular have thousands of donors and past associates. How can you be accountable for the actions and remarks of every single one?

Right, Perez? Or should we assume, by virtue of this picture of you and Sam Lutfi, that you are in favor of verbally abusing and drugging Britney Spears?

Perez Hilton keeps company with the likes of Sam Lutfi, among other seedy characters. But we don’t judge the celebrity gossip aficionado because of it.

There’s nothing wrong with endorsing a candidate, whether it’s Obama, Hillary Clinton, John McCain (as Heidi Montag just did), or any other.

But slinging mud, drudging up old issues and presenting biased views may cross the line. It’s one thing to draw penises on photos of attention-loving celebrities, and quite another to take such liberties bashing presidential candidates.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Perez Hilton has shown his penchant for biased, one-sided reporting; nor is it the first time The Hollywood Gossip has called him out over it, as his Wikipedia page even states.

Maybe the blue-haired blunder will respond and take The Hollywood Gossip up on our challenge to a debate on the candidates and issues this time!
