Jeff Davis

Let’s keep the killer coaches out of New York

Being a celebrity is hard. So is being a writer, dancer, performer, producer … basically anything anyone does in Hollywood is just super, super tough.

Which is why celebs and such are turning to “Life Coaches” to supplement their therapy, personal trainers, open-eared hair stylists and other celeb friends. Take Jeff Davis, for example, the creator and producer of the scarcely watched CBS show Criminal Minds. He needs his life coach to discover his own criminal mind.

Through coaching sessions twice a month, Mr. Davis got in touch, he said, with “my inner killer” and learned when to summon it and when to be nice.

We can only imagine what would happen if New Yorkers all got in touch with their “inner killers.” We’d all be freakin’ dead by now. Which is why it’s probably a good thing that (unlike those Hollywood wussies) New Yorkers are too tough to sit through one of these bull sessions.

But, just to be safe, let’s keep these coaches away from lonely Upper East Side housewives and downtown club bouncers.
