With a name like Bambi Francisco, you’re bound to get into trouble. And sure enough, the MarketWatch columnist whose name is tied to “Carmen Sandiego” in some back alley in our brain found out how to earn a rap sheet: by using her MarketWatch byline to promote start-up companies she featured on Vator.tv, an independent venture of hers that offers start-up companies the chance to beg for VC funding.
