Jamaican sprinter and Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt smashed another world record on Thursday by finishing the 200 meter distance in 19.19 seconds, breaking his own world record by 0.11 seconds, set in Beijing last year.
Bolt turns 23-years-old on Friday and had this to say: “It’s just a great feat for me. I didn’t know I was going to break it by that much. I was just trying hard and got it right.”
After one false start by France’s David Alerte, Bolt quickly got off the blocks, taking the lead and pulling away from the rest of the field in Berlin.
