Bravo’s new reality series “The Real Housewives of D.C.” will feature Tareq and Michaele Salahi, aka the White House gatecrashers.
Bravo cameras were on-hand when the Salahis infamously crashed President Obama’s first State Dinner in November 2009, costing White House Social Secretary Desiree Rogers her job. The couple refused to answer questions from members of a House Homeland Security Committee about how they got into the event.
According to sources, all 12 episodes of the first season have been filmed, and the show is expected to premiere in July.
The Salahis are also planning a tell-all book which their literary agent claims will set the record straight about the “misunderstanding” regarding the White House invitation.
