Prince Pierre and Stavros Niarcho III, son of Greek shipping tycoon …
It was a rough weekend for the 24-year-old son of Princess Caroline of Monaco. Prince Pierre Casiraghi was hospitalized after receiving a brutal beating at the hands of former Manhattan club owner Adam Hock.
The prince and three friends, including Stavros Niarcho III, art dealer Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld and pro soccer player Diego Marroquin were assaulted at the Double Seven club in New York City’s Meatpacking District on Saturday.
When the dust settled Casiraghi was taken to Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center for treatment of deep cuts on his face in what he characterized as an “unprovoked attack” against the foursome.
Hock was sitting at a table with supermodels Anja Rubik, Valentina Zalyaeva and Natasha Poly when the fight broke out. According to their version, the Prince and his “obnoxious” group approached the table and took a swig out of Hock’s $500 bottle of vodka.
Witnesses indicate that Hock threw Casiraghi “across the room” where he landed on a table, and then proceeded to rough up Casiraghi’s pals.
Police arrested Adam Hock and charged him with four counts of third degree assault. No one else was charged.
