Nadya Suleman has entered a 30-day treatment program at Chapman House Drug Rehabilitation Center in Southern California to get help with an addiction to Xanax.
The woman dubbed ‘Octomom’ after giving birth to octuplets in January 2009, got hooked on an anti-anxiety drug that she began taking to deal with the stress of raising 14 children who were conceived via IVF and sperm donors.
Suleman’s rep revealed, “Nadya wanted to get off the Xanax she was prescribed by her doctor and learn to deal with her stress, exhaustion and anxiety with professional help from a team of doctors. Nadya wanted to deal with her issues and make sure she is the best mother she can be.”
The kids have been left in the care of three nannies and two friends, and a driver who transports the older youngsters to and from school.
