With the MTV Video Music Awards less than a month away, the network is creating a buzz about the show by announcing some of the performers.
Hitting the Nokia Theatre stage in Los Angeles will be British crooner Adele. With seven nominations, an invite to perform shouldn’t come as a surprise to any of her loyal fans. It will mark the first time the singer has performed on a VMA stage.
Singer Chris Brown will also entertain the crowd: “I am excited about my nominations and to be back on the VMA stage, I have a special performance planned for my wonderful fans.”
Lil Wayne was also been announced. The rapper humbly recognized the accomplishment: “Being a nominee and performer at the VMAs is an honor because everyone doesn’t get that opportunity. Looking forward to performing on the show, and having Tha Carter IV drop the same week!”
Not giving too much away, MTV promises this is just a tease and urges daily website check-ins to find out more performers, announcers and surprises.
Speaking of surprises… this Bitten and Bound writer will be there reporting live on all of the behind-the-scene scoop!
