Kelly Osbourne, daughter of heavy metal icon Ozzie Osbourne and television personality Sharon Osbourne, is set for her Dancing with the Stars debut on ABC this week. She and her professional dance partner Louis van Amstel have been training for the past month and will join the rest of the Season 9 cast to kick off the new season on Monday, September 21, at 8:00 p.m. eastern.
Osbourne, 24, admits to being very nervous but is looking forward to the opportunity to boost her career and downplay her past problems with addiction, including two stints in rehab in 2004 and again in January 2009.
Her combination autobiography and self-help book Fierce was released on September 1, 2009. In it she states that her DNA has predisposed her to addiction issues and she decided to pen the book in order to tell her story and at the same time provide advice and guidance, drawing from her own experiences.
Kelly is engaged to 20-year-old model Luke Worrall, who provided transportation for his lady love over the weekend in the form of a motorized scooter.
