Kate Hudson spent the afternoon doing lunch in Manhattan and then hitting the playground with her young son Ryder Robinson. The actress is between boyfriends since cutting ties with Lance Armstrong. The couple dated for several months before an abrupt parting of ways.
One has to wonder what might be keeping the actress and the athlete from finding true love. Armstrong broke off an engagement with singer Cheryl Crow, reportedly because she wanted children and he was satisfied with his brood without adding more. She has since adopted a son Wyatt Crow. Hudson broke things off twice with Owen Wilson, presumably because of his addictive behavior.
Kate still has a great relationship with ex-husband Chris Robinson, frontman for The Black Crowes. Immediately after her most recent breakup, she and Ryder were seen dining with Chris. They also dined with him on Father’s Day.
Hudson was named People magazine’s Most Beautiful Cover Girl earlier this year. Perhaps that was what drew Armstrong to her in the first place. Maybe it’s all about the conquest with the seven time Tour de France champion.
