LA Fashion Week is underway and Bitten and Bound sent our guest correspondent Giselle Ugarte from Sprinting in Stilettos to check out the latest fashions from the 2013 Spring collections.

There were also a few surprises on the Local Socialite runway, mostly pleasant, such as galaxy prints, sequins, and silver (not necessarily together)– very “Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century”, but in a good way.
The model roster included YouTube sensations Samantha Chuawongse (“SAAAMMAGE”), Nikki Phillippi (“NIKKIPHILLIPPI”), Sonia Castaneda (“SCCASTANEDA”),Rachel Talbott (“CHECKINTHEMIRROR”), Suzy Agdeppa (“MACNC40”), Heart Defensor (“THATSHEART”) and Allie Evans (“GLASSSLIPPERBEAUTY”); together, these ladies have nearly 1 billion views and 6 million subscribers on YouTube.
Also joining them down the catwalk were the reigning Miss California USA, Natalie Pack, and Miss California Teen USA, Alexa Jones.
