Last night actor Eddie Cibrian was rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago after suffering a deep gash to his right heel while filming on the set of The Playboy Club.
The injury occurred when he caught his foot under a 200-lb steel door, just hours after NBC announced the cancellation of the new series after just three episodes.
So why was the actor taping? We’re told that NBC hopes to find another network willing to take on the The Playboy Club, featuring Cibrian as lawyer and keyholder Nick Dalton.
LeAnn Rimes took to her Twitter page in L.A. to share her husband’s injury news, “My husband is hurt…stitches in his Achilles! Going home…..nurse Le on the red eye. HUGE stitches…when it rains it pours, but that means NOTHING but bed tmrw.”
Some seven hours later, having landed in Chi-Town, she tweeted, “It’s too early or too late or something….wow, red eye’s are horrible. Going home to snuggle now.”
