Tuesday saw the third elimination on the thirteenth season of Dancing with the Stars. This one was a shocker.
The judges awarded the majority of the ten celebrity contestants and their pro partners higher scores this week, based upon their improved dance moves.
Two of the three weakest contestants, David Arquette and Nancy Grace, were among those who showed vast improvement with their storytelling Rumba and Waltz.
Chaz Bono and his pro partner Lacey Schwimmer found no favor with the panel of judges. Their Rumba, to the strains of Laugh at Me by Sonny Bono, earned them three 6’s for a lowly composite score of 18.
In an attempt to breath new life into her son’s faltering dance tenure on DWTS, Cher tweeted a prayer promise:
It turned out that her son was among the first three contestants to be declared safe. Bring it on Cher. We’ll be planning to see you in the ballroom next Monday night.
The couple receiving the lowest number of votes this week was Kristin Cavallari and her pro partner Mark Ballas. Though they have been near the top of the leader board consistently, they were eliminated.
The former Hills actress had a special guest in the audience this week, her former fiance, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler – pics and video here.
