The legal team for the estate of the late Anna Nicole Smith continues to battle for her 3-year-old daughter Dannielynn Birkhead. The recent decision made by the federal appellate court panel awarded the mega inheritance to the daughter-in-law of J. Howard Marshall, leaving nothing for the estate of his wife of 14 months.
The child lives with her biological father Larry Birkhead.
If the federal courts don’t reverse their decision, the legal team plans to take the matter back to the Supreme Court. Paperwork has already been filed stating that the same three judges that denied Anna the right to her deceased husband’s estate many years ago are the same trio who once again shot down her daughter.
The legal team will wait for the eleven judge panel from the 9th Circuit Court to review the case and if they do not side with Dannielynn’s right to the money, her legal team will take the matter all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
