Officers from the LAPD swarmed the Sherman Oaks home of Charlie Sheen shortly before 9:00 p.m. Thursday night to search for guns. TMZ first reported that cops arrived on the scene after receiving a warning that the actor had threatened to harm himself with a firearm.

Charlie, along with his legal team and a few pals, sat outside on a patio eating hamburgers while police went through his residence in search of weapons. The scene was captured in an aerial video shot from a KTLA helicopter – see below.

Police reportedly found a vintage rifle and a few bullets but that was it. The actor is prohibited from possessing weapons under the current restraining order his wife Brooke Mueller initiated last week – though it is unclear if she phoned in the 911 tip.

Charlie was apparently not irritated by the intrusion. He tweeted: “The LAPD were AWESOME. Absolute pros! They can protect and serve this Warlock anything!!! c.”

That was not the last dramatic event of the evening. According to Radaronline, a “crazed stalker” scaled Charlie’s fortified fence several hours later and was discovered in the backyard. LAPD was notified at 11:45 p.m. They arrived with full lights and sirens and quickly cuffed and arrested the unknown trespasser.

Charlie tweeted this after the second police visit of the night: “101 and on the black. 50 cops in my home. They all left. I’m still here. WINNING? 24/7 c”
