Over after one lackluster season …

It’s official. According to RadarOnline, the Bravo reality series The Real Housewives of D.C. will not film a second season. The show premiered in August 2010 and featured five Beltway beauties, including the now infamous White House gate crasher Michaele Salahisee her bikini pics.

Despite the fact that the Housewives Orange County, Atlanta, New Jersey, New York and Beverly Hills have done well, the DC and Miami franchises haven’t found a receptive audience.

A source on the inside revealed: “Andy Cohen, Bravo President of Programming and Development, has made it official that there will be no more new Housewives franchises. They’ve realized a lot with the failure of DC and Miami, and they’re going to concentrate on the successful shows they have and not expand any further.”

Check out the gorgeous women of the Miami franchise.
