Mama-to-be Beyonce has decided against performing “live via satellite” for the Michael Jackson Tribute Concert to be held in Cardiff, Wales.
The website for the tribute had modified Beyonce’s celebrity billing, now stating that the entertainer will be making “a special contribution on video.”
Family members of the legendary ‘King of Pop’ are not all embracing the event. Siblings Janet Jackson and Jermaine Jackson have nixed the event because of the ongoing trial of Dr. Conrad Murray.
Katherine Jackson and her daughter LaToya Jackson will attend with Michael’s three children, Prince, Blanket and Paris.
The October 8 venue will be held in an arena with seating for 75,000. Show promoters are now offering up a 2-for-1 deal on tickets, angering those who paid full price.
Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson, Leona Lewis, and Ne-Yo are all slated to perform.
