Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will end their media blackout and debut baby North when the ‘Kris’ talk show premieres on the Fox network July 15.
It can’t happen too soon because there are at least 18 million Twitter followers who are beginning to feel seriously shunned by their reality star darling Kim Kardashian.
We have entered Day 13 of a total media blackout, which began when KK gave birth to baby girl North West on June 15.
Kim and her baby daddy spent five days in a VIP birthing suite at Cedars Sinai in L.A., before making their undercover escape during the wee hours of June 20.
The couple have remained out of sight at Kris Jenner’s Hidden Hills mansion — without so much as a dash to Starbucks for coffee.
Only a few family members, Kris, Khloe and Rob, have dared utter a word about the blessed birth event. We find it odd that Kourtney Kardashian hasn’t publicly acknowledged the fact that her sister has joined the mommy club. A sister feud, perhaps?
If we had to hazard a guess, we’d say that Kanye has been putting strong pressure on Kim to maintain her silence. Knowing how the reality star operates — we’re guessing she is having serious withdrawal symptoms and is craving some social media interaction.
There is speculation that a mega “first photo” magazine deal in the works. That certainly sounds like a Kardashian move but we’re thinking Kanye wants to take a page from the Jay-Z playbook … keeping his daughter out of the limelight.
It seems likely that Kim is seriously conflicted about being true to the family brand while being pulled in the opposite direction by the father of her child. It should be interesting to see who wins this power struggle.
You may recall that the reality star’s infamous 72 day marriage ended abruptly because Kris Humphries didn’t take her “career” seriously. She fell out of love faster than a New York minute. Tread lightly Kanye…
