The list of celebrities who will receive a coveted star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year have been notified by the selection committee.
A total of 25 high profile entertainers from motion pictures, television, radio and music will be lavished with a star ceremony in 2014.
Notables from the film industry include Orlando Bloom, Sally Field, Jessica Lang, Matthew McConaughey and Liam Neeson.
Television celebs include Claire Danes, Deidre Hall, Kaley Cuoco and Cheryl Hines. The list of music makers who will be honored include Katy Perry and Rick Springfield.
Receiving stars posthumously are rapper Tupac Shakur and comedian Phil Hartmon.
WOF Committee Chairman David Green said, “We have a great mix of celebrities and industry executives who have made Hollywood what it is today — one of the greatest entertainment destinations in the world. The new selections will bring great joy and fond memories for those millions who visit Hollywood each year.”
The recipients have been notified and have up to five years to schedule their ceremonies from the date of selection, otherwise they will expire. We’re guessing they’ll all chose to be honored in 2014…
