Bob Newhart has listed his home in the old Bel Air area of Los Angeles for $15.5 million.

The 9,100 square foot, 5 bedroom, 6.25 bathroom Wallace Neff-designed home was built in 1941, and has had extensive remodels since Newhart and his wife purchased the French Country estate in 1990 for $4.2 million.

Features include a spacious living room with fireplace, grand family room with fireplace, formal dining room, cook’s kitchen with high end appliances, two maids quarters, and a grand master suite with sitting area, his/hers baths and large walk-in closets. Outside is a large lagoon pool, and a covered outdoor entertainment area with kitchen and two baths.

Wallace Neff is a favorite among celebrities, and has designed homes for Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, Madonna and Rupert Murdoch, among others.
