Supermodel Kate Upton and ‘DWTS’ pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy are in the early stages of a relationship.
They have reportedly been hanging out and were spotted dining at Scalinatella on the Upper East Side of Manhattan Monday — her 21st birthday.
According to US Weekly, “The pair looked like a couple. They were very canoodly. It was a very intimate meal.”
Upton has appeared three time in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She was named the 2011 Rookie of the Year, and was featured on the coveted cover in 2012 and 2013 – pics here.
We checked both of their Twitter pages to see if we could glean something, and we think we hit pay dirt regarding Chmerkovskiy’s current state of mind.
Maks tweeted on Tuesday, “Jet setting out of NY and find myself ‘dragging feet’ …. Have to go, but don’t want to leave. #amazingfewdays”
Chmerkovskiy took a break from his long-running stint on the ABC reality competition ‘Dancing with the Stars’ during Season 16 to pursue other opportunities. We think you’ll agree that dating a SI swimsuit model certainly qualifies as an excellent opportunity…
He previously dated ‘DWTS’ pro Peta Murgatroyd after breaking off his engagement with pro Karina Smirnoff.
Kate appears to have a thing for athletes and rappers. Since 2011 she has dated Sean Combs, MLB player Justin Verlander, NFL QB Mark Sanchez and Kanye West.
