With her acting career trending downward, actress Jennifer Aniston has time on her hands to do other things. She announced Thursday that she has signed on to be the new face of Aveeno skincare products.

The former ‘Friends’ celeb said, “I’m very particular about what I put on my face and body, and have been using Aveeno for years, so this partnership is a natural fit for me.”

The ad campaign will start later this year and will feature Jen revealing some of her beauty secrets.

The skincare brand had this to say about their new spokesperson, “Jennifer’s holistic approach to life and her natural beauty are such a perfect match for Aveeno. We are pleased to welcome Jennifer to the Aveeno family.”

The actress has been associated with SmartWater since 2007 and launched her own fragrance Jennifer Aniston that was launched two years ago at Harrods in London.

On the film front, the actress has piled up a number of box office disappointments, which may be why she is so selective about future roles. Last year she appeared on the big screen in one lone movie, ‘Wanderlust.’ It got lackluster reviews but she did meet her future husband on the set–so all was not lost.

This year she will appears in ‘We’re the Millers,’ portraying a prostitute who becomes part of a fake family in order to help a veteran pot dealer move a big shipment of weed into the U.S. from Mexico. The flick hits theaters in August.

Jennifer is engaged to actor-screenwriter Justin Theroux. His latest body of work includes writing the screenplays for the 2012 film ‘Rock of Ages’ and the yet to be filmed comedy ‘Zoolander 2,’ slated to hit theaters in 2014.
