Some are suggesting that Charlie Sheen is taking back the harsh words that he threw at Ashton Kutcher last week. We’re not so sure this is an apology.
Last Thursday Charlie called TMZ and told Harvey Levin that he was tired of pretending that Ashton doesn’t suck, his first negative comment aimed at the Two and a Half Men replacement.
Sheen said, “I’m tired of lying … I’m tired of pretending the show doesn’t suck … I’m tired of pretending Ashton doesn’t suck. It’s nothing personal … I just feel bad for him … he’s saddled with such bad writing.”
Charlie has apparently had time to reflect on the criticism and is offering up this official apology to the actor:
Dear Ashton,
My bad.
I was disrespectful to a man doing his best.
I got excited and I threw you into the crossfire, but the rest of my statement I stand behind. You however, deserve better.
Safety in your travels good sir. CS
Apparently Charlie is operating under the premise that begging forgiveness after unloading is acceptable. We’re thinking it might be a little premature to be slinging arrows when his own new sitcom Anger Management has yet to see the light of day. Did he cross a line?
