Judy Greer has been cast as the ex-wife of Ashton Kutcher‘s character on Two and a Half Men.
Greer, who played a love interest of Charlie Sheen on two episodes of the show in 2007, will play a totally different character in the recurring role.
Greer’s former character was Myra, sister-in-law to Alan’s ex-wife Judith and Charlie’s girlfriend. In the upcoming season, Greer plays Bridget, the woman who broke the heart of Kutcher’s character, internet billionaire Walden Schmidt.
When Bridget leaves Walden, he purchases the home formerly owned by Sheen’s now dead character Charlie Harper. Walden, who is lonely, insists that Alan (Jon Cryer) and Jake (Angus T. Jones) remain in the house with him.
Greer is best known for her role as Kitty Sanchez on Arrested Development, appearing in 10 episodes of the Fox comedy series from 2003-2006.
The 36-year-old actress starred in the CBS mid-season replacement sitcom Mad Love, which premiered in February 2011. The show was canceled. She also starred in the ABC comedy Miss/Guided, which was executive produced by Kutcher.
