Stop, collaborate and listen! Onetime rap star Vanilla Ice has been cast in Adam Sandler‘s upcoming movie, “I Hate You Dad.”
Ice, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, will play Sandler’s longtime friend in the film, which has Sandler playing Andy Samberg‘s dad.
Sandler’s character moves in with his son and his son’s fiancee, and immediately starts feuding with the bride-to-be.
Leighton Meester is reportedly in talks to play Samberg’s fiancee in the Columbia Pictures comedy, along with James Caan as her tough-talking father.
The film is being produced through Sandler’s Happy Madison production company along with Jack Giarraputo and Heather Parry, and is set for a June 15, 2012 release.
