Happy camper Niki took one for Team ASAP …

Model Niki Taylor was the third contestant to be fired on the NBC reality show Celebrity Apprentice 4 on Sunday, March 20.

The celebs were tasked with creating the ultimate outdoor camping experience by showcasing the products of RV retailer Camping World. They were scored on brand messaging, originality and overall presentation.

Project manager for Backbone was Gary Busey. Despite the face that his entire team struggled mightily with every aspect of Gary, they staged an impressive exterior space.

John Rich strummed a guitar and sang for visitors and Jose Consco tossed a baseball — adding just the right touch, according to the Camping World exec. He judged their presentation to be the hands-down winner.

Their victory earned them $40,000, that was donated to The Center for Head Injury Services. Gary Busey suffered a life-threatening head injury in 1988 when he crashed his motorcycle while not wearing a helmet. He fractured his skull and severely injured his brain.

Project manager for ASAP was Niki Taylor. She was roped into it because she was the only one of the group who had ever had a camping experience. As it turned out, it didn’t translate into a plus for the team.

Despite their stellar RV interiors and an impressive product knowledge displayed by LaToya Jackson, their exterior space was bland with no greenery. They missed the boat totally on brand messaging, with no visible signage. Ouch.

The thorn in Niki’s side this week was Dionne Warwick. The model had an in-your-face moment with the music diva and handled it well.

Taylor, in an extremely humble move, sang the praises of her entire team and told Donald Trump that she felt the blame rested solely on her shoulders for the loss.

It is clear that she doesn’t “do” conflict. Trump called her a “class act” before sending her on her way with his official “you’re fired.” Team ASAP walked her to the elevator — a first for the show.
